So I just got back from Wal-Mart, where I had gone to get the oil changed in my car. I don't normally care for Wal-Mart but I figured they would have my car in and out and while I was waiting I could do some shopping. An hour and a half later I was painfully reminded why I hate that store so much. On the way home I was discussing this hatred on the phone with my mom. Well, apparantly Noah was paying close attention to my end of the conversation because after we got home Noah was playing with his toys and suddenly looked up at me and exclaimed very emphatically, "Wal-Mart's GROSS!" I just laughed and agreed.
At least the ride to and from the store was amusing. There's some construction going on near the store so Noah had a fabulous time pointing out the various trucks he saw. Concrete mixer trucks, diggers, excavators, pick-up trucks. He knows them all (thanks to My Big Truck Book, which he has fully memorized - it's very entertaining to listen to him identify all the trucks). As I type this, I'm listening to him read his truck book, saying things like "Concrete mixer truck - (gasp!) Just like the concrete mixer truck we saw!!" I love this boy.

Seriously, what is it about Walmart? There is one really close to our apartment but I still chose to go out of my way to hit Target instead. I'm with Noah on this one! ;)
I am not sure why, but it is gross...well maybe it is that Target is just SO much better! I am with you Noah!
I agree, also, Wal-Mart is GROSS. My only problem is the trouble I get in when I go to Target... they have such cute things that I just HAVE to have :)
I have never even tried WalMart. Why would I when I have my beloved Target? There is nothing in Target that I wouldn't buy. Plus, the carts are always clean--and you know how I feel about that.
P.S. I own Target stock--please don't go to WalMart again.
Too funny, I have to agree - other than the cheap sippy cups that they sell, WalMart is pretty much useless and gross too. How perceptive of Noah! :)
I totally agree!!!!!!! Target all the way! If I ever have to go to Gross-Mart I always leave in a bad mood!

So apparantly everyone on earth hates Wal-Mart. How does it still exist??? Tiff, I read Mandee's post and comments and every single thing that was said is in my head every single time I go there. But never again!! No siree. Especially since I'm sure Noah will repeat "Wal-Mart's GROSS!" as soon as we get inside. Actually, maybe that's incentive enough to go one last time...
