And Then There Were Four

I just had this bad boy delivered yesterday:

Ben is pretty flabbergasted that we now have four strollers for two children (one stroller frame for the infant carseat, one single stroller, our other double stroller, and now this one) but they all serve their distinct purposes. I love love love our first double stroller, but sadly it does not fit in our car so I can't use it for mall trips, errands, etc. For the last 9 months I've been managing with the baby carrier and the single stroller, alternating between carrying Sam with Noah in the stroller and letting Noah walk with Sam in the stroller. It was all getting pretty old so it was time to just invest in double stroller #2. This little experience has taught me that perhaps big cars are handy even when you do only have two kids. I always thought it was kind of funny when parents bought minivans when they only had a couple of kids, but now I get it. It's just as much about needing the space for all the baby gear! Still, since we seem to have solved our little problem I think we'll be able to hold off on the minivan for another couple of years.

Great stroller! Is that a Combi? I was thinking about getting one to get us through this summer. I honestly don't know how I've survived these 6 months without one. Do you love it?!

Yes, it's a Combi. They make two twin strolles - the Sport and the Savvy. This one is the Sport (the less expensive of the two). I do like it. I wouldn't take it on long walks in a city, but it's great for the mall or a stroll around the neighborhood. And it folds up really compactly, which is great if you have a smaller car.
