When he woke up I said, "Hi Sweetie! Did you have a good nap? You fell asleep playing with your letters - that's crazy!" He replied, "Silly Noah, falling asleep on my letters. Silly Noah."

Zonked Out
Noah is in that awkward phase where he doesn't necessarily need a nap every day. Most days he does nap but then won't go to bed until 9 or so. It's a trade off because if he goes without a nap, we can put him down early and have both boys in bed at the same time at night. Still, I am quite fond of naptime so I generally go for the first option. :) This afternoon Noah got in his bed to nap but then came out of his room about 20 minutes later - clearly not in a napping mood. I told him it was fine if he didn't sleep but that it was quiet-time and he needed to play quietly in his room until I came in to get him (translation: when I was finished slowly sipping my coke). That is the cutest thing ever. Nothing like this has ever happened at my house.
That is so cute! Brooklyn is the same way with naps! And then there are the days where she just needs one! I love that puzzle of Noah's. We just got one for Brooklyn this weekend and she is obssessed with it......Oh how I wish we lived closer to you guys!
Oh I could just eat that kid up! He is so sweet. We miss that little guy around here.
So cute! Man, it will be a sad, sad day when Savannah gives up the nap (I'm hoping she'll take one everyday until kindergarden at least)
Maybe you need to get some more exciting puzzles Amy! That one must be boooorrriiinnnggg. ha ha. Just kidding.
I was at this discount bookstore the other day and saw Noah's favorite truck book for $1.99 . I know you just bought him a new one but do you think that you will need a third in the future?
Are you kidding, Tiff? I need a third one now. His second one has already fallen apart (my child is tough on his favorite books) but I've been refusing to buy yet another truck book!
How funny is that. I love that you were sipping a coke and that's why Noah had to had quiet time.
It was great to talk to you!!!
Amy - I will grab it for you when I am there next...
They only had one, so I am crossing my fingers that it is still there...
