Couple of Tid-bits

Just now as I was putting Noah down for his nap I asked him if we needed to change his diaper. He replied, "We already changed my diaper yesterday." Yeah, once a day ought to do it.

This morning Noah, Sam and I were playing on the floor in Sam's bedroom when Noah suddenly threw his arms around my neck and said, "I love you, Mama." As affectionate as Noah is, I think that was the first time he's ever actually said that without prompting. Happy Mom, over here.

Noah has also started giving us "options." Awhile ago I started doing that with Noah to get him to do things easier (works like a charm - he's always more inclined to mind me if he thinks he had a choice to make) and now he's doing it. He still ends up choosing in the end, but it's funny to hear him say things like, "Okay, Mama, which jammies? The trucks? Or the stripes?" and "Should Mama read the story, or Daddy read it?"

Yesterday = any time period in the past.

Tomorrow = any time period in the future.
