Extreme Shopping

Yesterday Noah decided he did not want to take a nap in his bed. He felt that under his bed would make for a more comfortable sleeping environment.

Speaking of random things, the other day I went shopping.
I took the boys in to the Galleria in Houston to hit up Nordstrom and Pottery Barn Kids. I did a little damage. Because it was such a ridiculous sight (and because I'm a little bit nerdy), I recreated the image of my encumbered stroller for you when I got home. As you can see, there was no room left in my make-shift shopping cart for my children. Noah was happy to walk and I carried Sam on my hip while I pushed the stroller with my other hand. My arms got very tired, especially since I met some friends for lunch and the food court is not all that close to Pottery Barn Kids. I got lots of stares and chuckles and, "Well, you have your hands full, don't you!"s. I also got one, "So it looks like Pottery Barn had some things that you liked!" It was pretty comical. The main (and bulkiest) purchase was Noah's quilt.

Cute, huh?

I love the new quilt!!! That sale at PBK was awesome! We left on Sat with 5 bags full of stuff...they even had to give us those little handles so we could carry it all! Of course, everything we buy is in 3's :), but I just couldn't resist! I wish we lived closer so we could go shopping together! Miss you!

I hope you didn't leave with the same things that I got for your girls! Keep your receipt just in case. :) I wish we could go shopping together too. Sigh.

Isn't that what a stroller is for??!! Way to go on the finds and I love the quilt. Are you still working at PB? Now you need to show me what's in that Nordstrom bag!

A sale at PBK, and I missed it?! You definitely made out with some adorable things! Love the stroller shot! See, a double stroller IS a must....where else would you put all your purchases??? Maybe this is why Ryan won't let me get one.

Shauna, I am still working there (so Tiff, it was 40% off even though it wasn't on sale!). I just asked my manager about going down to one day a week though and I haven't heard back so we'll see if I'll be there much longer! I'll keep you posted. Oh, and don't get excited about the Nordstrom bag. The only thing I bought for myself all day was a tube of lipstick. Everything else was for the boys (or baby gifts).
