Anyway, this was the first time that my mom has been to visit since I moved to Houston so it was really fun to show her where I live and the places I go on a regular basis. Also, while my mom was here we took the kids to a puppet show, went to the beautiful Hermann Park, went shopping and out to dinner (without the kids), and played a lot of Skip-Bo. A perfect weekend, if you ask me!
Here are some pictures.

How fun! I love when my mom comes to visit too. And I LOVE Skip-Bo!
Okay miss pottery barn house. So cute. Love it. Love the cowboy get up. Love when moms come to town.
Thank you for your feedback on my blog.
You can only see my mantle, you nut! And nothing on it is from Pottery Barn!! :) Although, I did copy the square vases from PB (but found them at Michael's for cheaper - even afer my discount) and I have since replaced the vase on the right with one from PB and filled the one on the left with PB leaves. So I guess now it's about 1/2 PB.
I'm seriously really excited about your classroom likely blog, Tiff. I feel like I really need to step up the creativity with my kiddos.
So fun. What's up with the cowboy hat. Nate just got one from Costco and he refuses to take it off. I don't think it will last until Halloween!
How fun that your mom was in town! Looks like the fall weather in Houston is a lot more inviting than mid-summer, but I still had a blast when I came!
Love the cowboy hat on Noah. Too cute!
You and your mom are just gorgeous!! I bet it was so fun to have her in town for a few days. I remember how excited you used to get when they were coming in town! I left you a comment back about your question on my blog. :) I miss you!!
It was fun to see Ben! Wish you guys could have come! Next time...
Nothing like a Mommy visit! Looks like you had a great time and I love your mantle! I need some decorating advice from a PB consultant for sure!
