Next I admired the rodeo decor:
Poor boys!! I felt so terrible because I think the video clearly shows that it was my side-line shout-out that distracted Noah and caused him to run off course. Talk about Mommy guilt! Fortunately, neither of the boys was seriously hurt. I took them both to the office to get some ice and they were totally fine after a couple of minutes. Which is a good thing because we still had the bandana races (which were free from any cowboy collisions) and the chili cookoff left.

What a fun school event!!
And, your shout-out was most certainly not the cause of the run-in. Accidents happen.
how cute is that? What an AWESOME event. I wanted to email you tonight but I may not have the right email address??? I haven't checked your blog in ages, so glad to find this and add it to google reader so I can keep tabs on you! Will you let me know a new email address if you have one?
thanks! love, tiff
And you say you don't like Texas? What fun!
Yes, the rodeo stuff is a bright spot in Texas. :)
I actually like Texas just fine, I just hate not living by my family. Texas is a big place to be all by yourself. Thank goodness for good friends, but that doesn't replace family.
...only in texas! p.s. i like your hair.
So funny! When you visit me (yes, I said "when" as in "you are coming soon, righ?"), we can see Buffalo Bill's grave about 15 minutes away from the house. We also have Buffalo Bill Days in downtown Golden. That's right, Texas doesn't hog all the fun!
Good gosh, you must live in Texas!
I have no recollection of celebrating anything resembling a rodeo during any of my primary school years... =)
But DARLING. Did I forget to mention that? =)
