Great Wolf Lodge

A couple of weekends ago we drove up to a lodge/waterpark near Dallas called the Great Wolf Lodge. It's a self-contained hotel and waterpark with restaurants, arcades, waterslides, pools, etc. It is entirely catered to kids and was SO much fun (for us adults, too!). The best part was that we met my brother Dave, his wife Laurel, their 3 kids, and my dad up there (my mom was busy galavanting around Europe, touring with her singing group).

We had rooms across the hall from each other and, while at the waterpark, took turns playing on the adult waterslides while the others watched the kids play. And one night I got to have a good old daddy-daughter date at the waterslides and hot tub while Ben stayed in the room with the boys.

Anyway, this place was so. much. fun. I have decreed that it must be a Lloyd Family Annual Vacation. So Mom & Dad, Dave & Laurel, Melissa & Thomas, Tom & Aly - just plan on it for next year. Amy has spoken.

Pictures galore:

Okay I am going to forgive you for coming to Dallas and *not* calling us only because it was a family reunion for you all, but really - we must get together sometime soon. I

We've haven't been to WCL yet, but we've heard mixed reviews, glad to hear you loved it.

I agree, Great Wolf Lodge is SO much fun. We went in Ohio a couple years ago and Bailee always asks if we can go back. Can't wait to see you!
