Wedding Season

I have recently acquired two new sisters-in-law. And it's actually quite a relief because now all of my siblings are married off and I love all of my in-laws so it's nice to know I won't have any weirdo siblings.

First up was my little brother's wedding. Tom and his new wife Aly were married on May 17 in California. I had met Aly over Thanksgiving so I already knew that I really liked her, but we were able to meet for lunch a few days before the wedding and it made me all the more excited to be getting her for a sister. I feel like we've been friends forever. The only bad thing about her is that her name is Alyson Jane which has always been my EXACT name pick if I am ever to have a baby girl. But that's okay. I can take one for the team I suppose. :)

My sister and sister-in-law did most of the picture-taking (aside from the actual photographer of course), so I only have this one photo from the day. But the wedding and reception were absolutely lovely.

Me with the happy coupleOne June 20, Ben's brother Dave got married to his new wife Kaleen. They got married in Utah and the boys and I were not able to go out for it so I have no pictures but Ben said it was wonderful. And I was fortunate to be able to attend an Open House that they had here in Texas the next week.

So congratuations to both sets of brides and grooms. And to Aly and Kaleen, welcome to the family!
