A la Noah

Here are some recent cute and funny things a la Noah:

(For those who read my blog earlier today, don't be confused. I edited my last post and put the bottom half of it into this new post and added some things).

The other day Noah picked up The Little Mermaid DVD and said, "Excuse me Miss, you need a shirt!"

This morning Noah was pretending to talk to his cousins on the phone and this was his end of the conversation: "Hi Lor-Lor! I miss you. Hi Ry-Ry! Hi Abby! You're so cute! I miss you again. (pause) Hi Melissa! You're so cute. (pause) Hi Abby! I miss you last time."

He now says "Oh, poor guy" if he's upset about something.

"I'm feeling good!"

"He's a good Peanut" (referring to Sam)

"Fanks!" (translation: "Thanks")

"Grrreat idea!!"

"Fixay! I'm a lizard! Fixay! I'm a frog!" (for the record, I have NO idea was "fixay" means in Noah's world)

"I want to say hi to Peanut" (he'll say this when Sam is sleeping and then when he wakes up Noah gets so excited and says "Sam's awake!!")

The sentiment behind this one is cute - I like that Noah loves his daddy so much. But he and I have had this exact conversation at least 16 times today (and every day), starting the moment Noah woke up:

Noah: "Daddy home soon?"
Me: "Yes honey, Daddy will be home after work."

Then when it's nearing time for Ben to actually come home, Noah starts repeating "Daddy aachie!!" (which is what they call jumping on the bed together - I don't really know where it comes from) and I have to say "Yes, Daddy will aachie with you when he gets home."
